About Us
Woodrow Martin Studios is a small art production house that produces high quality Art, Animation, Concept Art, Design, Illustration, ect. Art is done by Woody himself , except when huge projects come in the door. Woody has a large network of professional contractors and interns, that will help tackle these larger projects in a timely manner.
Woodrow grew up in a small town in Colorado where he excelled in the ways of creativity, building snow forts, tunnels, and sledding tracks. He also learned drawing, painting, and music from his talented botanical illustrator mother, Patty Whalen and his folk musician father, Jeb Martin. He continued to excel in creativity in high school, concentrating on 3-d Art and Jewelry making, making a few bucks on the side selling hand made silver rings to some of the girls in the school. In college, he was one of the tops in the Animation Department at Rocky Mountain Collage of Art and Design. Graduating in 2003, he set out on the universe to excel in art. While living in Brooklyn, he was in several group shows. He won prizes for his hand made costumes, and he participated multiple time in the NYC Halloween parade. One of his films "Brain Wash" was selected to be part of the Animation Block Party Film Festival. After his adventures in NYC, he came back to his roots in Colorado, working as an Associate Producer at ARG! Cartoon Animation Studio, doing art direction, character design, and helping to pioneer their white board video department. He also directed interns and contractors, streamlining multiple productions simultaneously. Woody has now formed Woodrow Martin Studios. |
